TVAR

Terms of use

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Who you are contracting with

TVAR is operated by Buxleys LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as “TVAR” (Trade Van Asset Register). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Buxleys LTD. By using TVAR you are entering into an agreement with Buxleys LTD.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or continuing to use TVAR, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and, where you use TVAR on behalf of a business, that you have authority to bind that business.

The service

TVAR is a record-keeping and evidence organisation tool. It helps you create, maintain and organise evidence of ownership, condition, security and insurance for your tools and vehicles before it is needed, and to assemble that evidence into a report after a theft. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TVAR in line with the plan you have selected.

TVAR does not verify insurance coverage, ownership, valuation or claim eligibility, and does not provide insurance or legal advice. Storing information in TVAR does not guarantee any insurance outcome. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you record.

Your account

Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, and must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use TVAR for any unlawful purpose, or to record or claim property that is not yours;
  • submit fraudulent records, fabricated evidence, spam or misleading content, including in support of an insurance claim;
  • upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing, scraping, or bulk automated access;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense or redistribute the service, or circumvent plan limits or technical restrictions.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photographs, documents and records you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process that content solely to provide the service to you. If a rights-holder believes content on TVAR infringes their rights, they can contact us and we will investigate and remove infringing content; repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

Intellectual property

Buxleys LTD retains all right, title and interest in TVAR, including the software, interfaces, documentation, TVAR Score methodology, evidence pack templates, branding and trade marks. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Plans, payment and subscriptions

TVAR offers a Free plan and paid subscriptions (Pro and Business), billed monthly or annually at the prices shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at checkout; VAT and other applicable taxes are handled at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our refund policy for our money-back guarantee.

Availability

We work to keep TVAR available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access where there is material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time from the Account screen. When access ends you can export your data before deletion; after account deletion your records and files are permanently removed as described in our privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVAR is provided “as is” and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or any rejected or reduced insurance claim. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

General

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Questions about these terms: contact Buxleys LTD through the support channel in your account. Billing and order questions are handled by Paddle at paddle.net.
